These are the slides from the talk I gave at the University of Hertfordshire, on 8th December 1999, to Simon Polovina's IIC final-year class (and others).

There are nine pages with five slides to a page (to make downloads quicker). The graphics are as exported from Lotus Freelance - however, not at quite the same resolution as they display on screen, and converted to 256 colours, hence a little "blocky".
